"Insects - We Also Love!, Insect Photographs from the District of Bamberg" "Insekten - Lieben Wir Auch! Insektenphotos aus dem Landkreis Bamberg" , was a nature photography exhibit in the local Bamberg Landratsamt (what is the equivalent of a county or district administration facility) I include these photos here for viewing. This exhibition was presented in show cases in the entry area of the Landratsamt in Bamberg, Ludwigstr. 23, 96050 Bamberg.
Insects were chosen as the theme of this exhibition from a great love for nature, out of wonder for the great design and details of insects. Another reason for the theme of insects for the exhibition is in order to promote attention to these animals due to the massive decline of insects over the last 27 years on Planet Earth, more noticed since about 10 years. Bee population declines are only a small part of the situation, as decreases of all insects in many areas of the Earth amount to as much as 60 - 80%. In order to thrive, insects need not only more wild nature, (for example no-mow zones in the home garden, strips of wild growing plantlife along fields, etc.), need reduction or elminations in the use of herbicides and pesticides, (especially for industrial use for farming). Also, insects need our care and tolerance, kindness in our day-to-day attitude, view and treatment of them, for their very important role in the polliination of plants, for keeping the soil alive and fertile, as food for other animals like birds, for controlling the growth of animals below them on the food chain, and simply because of their existence as wonderfull co-creations with humans here on Earth.
The photos of the insects exhibition were taken in the four years of 2016 - 2020 and testify to my great love for nature, for the wonderful design and aesthetics of insects. Most of the photos come from the natural meadows and forest areas around the Hirschaid Township, such as Sassanfahrt and the Regnitzau. The artistic approach is to approach the inner being of the insect and through close-ups or so-called macro photos to give it the best expression. I pay attention to interesting lighting effects and a balanced overall composition, also with regards to the background. The resulting insect portraits open up visual impressions of the individual shapes and colors of each one. The viewer recognizes fine details that would otherwise remain hidden.
I have enjoyed taking photographs since childhood. After two previous nature photo exhibitions in 2020 and in 2019, this was my third photo exhibition.

Vom Sept. - Nov. war eine kleine Ausstellung von Naturfotografien mit der Titel
"Insekten - Lieben Wir Auch! Insektenphotos aus dem Landkreis Bamberg"
in der Landratsamt in Bamberg, Ludwigstr. 23, 96050 Bamberg.
Der Thema Insekten für der Ausstellung würde ausgesucht von den Künstlerin um Aufmerksamkeit zu unterstützen für Insekten, speziell aufgrund von den massive Ruckgang davon über die letzte 27 Jahre das erst die letzte ca. 10 Jahre, speziell von 2010 - 2020 gemerkt wird. Bienenvolkschwind ist nur ein Teil der Situation, weil 60 -. 80 % aller Insekten bereits zurück gegangen sind in viele Gebiete auf die Erde was erst seit ungefähr die letzte 10 Jahren besser gemerkt wird. Um weiterhin bestehen zu können, Insekten benötigen mehr wild-belassene Gebiete und Bereiche draussen (z.B. wild-wachsene Streifen am Rande von Felder, ungemähte naturbelassene Bereiche in Heimgärten), und benötigen schärferen Begrenzungen und Verbote von Pflanzenvernichtungsmittel- und Peszizidverbrauch (speziell in der industrielle Landwirtschaft). Um Bestand auf Erde zu behalten, benötigen Insekten täglich von jeder Mensch Respekt, Toleranz, Wertschätzung als Tiere hier auf Planet Erde, für ihre wichtige Rollen um Pflanzen zu bestauben, den Boden lebendig und früchtbar zu behalten, um Nährung zu sein für andere Tierarten wie Vogel, als Kontrolinstanz für andere Tiere die unterhalb sind auf der Nährungskette, sowie einfach als wunderbare Mit-Schöpfungen zu Menschen hier auf Erde.
Die Fotos der Insektenausstellung sind über die vier Jahre von 2016 - 2020 entstanden und zeugen von meiner sehr großen Liebe zur Natur, speziell für die wunderbares Gestaltung und feine Details von Insekten. Die meisten Fotos stammen von den naturbelassenen Wiesen- und Waldgebieten um Ortsteile des Marktes Hirschaid wie Sassanfahrt und der Regnitzaus. Die künstlerische Herangehensweise ist es, sich durch Nahaufnahmen oder sogenannten Makrofotos dem Wesen der Insekten zu nähern und ihr somit den besten Ausdruck zu verleihen. Dabei achtete ich auf interessante Lichteinflüsse und eine ausgewogene Gesamtkomposition auch in Hinblick auf einen stimmungsvollen Hintergrund. In den dadurch entstehende Insektenporträts eröffnen sich visuelle Eindrücke der individuellen Formen und Farben der jeweiligen Insekt. Der Betrachter erkennt Feindetails, die sonst im Verborgenen bleiben.
Ich fotografierte gerne bereits seit meiner Kindheit. Nach zwei vorherigen Naturfotoausstellung 2019 und 2020, machte ich mit dieser meine dritte Fotoausstellung.
